Have You Heard The Words Of Proverbs?

I hear people complain,

that they don’t like this they don’t like that.

People that don’t look, believe or think the same.

Do you suppose that is how your God wants you to act?

If that leaves you shaken, don’t be mistaken.

it should.

In all of us there is an equal measure of bad and good,

we separate ourselves; he and she, you and me.

It’s only the outside you see,

understand, there is only we!

When you gaze at the whole earth from space,

you  get a perspective of  our place.

Out in the blackness, when you see that dot of blue,

you can’t see any differences from that view.

You can believe whatever you choose to believe,

it may be difficult for you to conceive,

we are one, we all come from one.

They call her Eve,

she didn’t live in a garden.

She didn’t bite the apple,  she wasn’t tempted by a snake,

it’s a myth,  they felt the need to create.

It doesn’t matter what your faith,  when you hear them preach,

most miss the message of the speech.

Where you come from on this planet Earth,

that place of birth,  determines your worth.

It’s where your beliefs and attitudes form,

for each one of us, if circumstances would have been otherwise,

we could be the object of their scorn.

Try that on for size,

give it some thought, when you condemn or criticize,

someone.

Realize,  you could be that one.

Look in a mirror, and ask yourself,

why you think you are better than anyone else?
